Listen When Your Partner Asks for Love

Everyone was exploding.

My husband was gone and today I was solo parenting with three toddlers.

I love my solo days with my girls.

We eat snacks all day, have 3 hour long dance parties and binge watch Bluey in our Pjs.
It’s the best!

But this time was not that.
Oh no, not that at all!

I had my rain boots on as I bleached the bathroom because some of the mess had not made it into that beautiful porcelain bowl.
My kids had a stomach bug.

As soon as I was done scrubbing the bathroom I heard a noise coming from the other bathroom attached to the master bedroom.

I ran in to find another disaster.

I called my husband.
“Can you please tell me I’m the best wife and mother ever?” I asked in a high pitched voice.

“You are the best everything!” He said.
“The best wife, the best mother for your girls…”
He said it all without hesitation and continued to build me up with compliments for the next minute.

I smiled.
“Thank you. That’s all I needed to hear!”

I laughed as I hung up and put my cleaning gloves back on to scrub the second bathroom.

And this is a tiny example of what it looks like to fill your spouses cup when they are feeling depleted.

Stop Searching for Your Confidence in Others

Their validation for your actions?
You don’t need it.

So often we look to other people’s approval to make the hard choices.
Should you say goodbye to a toxic relationship; should you take the leap in your career; should you start something new; should you celebrate your accomplishments; should you be bold and say what no one else is saying?

You wait for someone else to tell you that you are good enough, strong enough, wise enough, or worth it to take action.

Stop.

You don’t need to tiptoe around your truth.

You don’t need to wait for someone to tell you it’s okay.
And now, it’s not because you don’t need support, you do.
But it’s because change is scary.

There are always risks in change and the people closest to you see that. They don’t want you to be uncomfortable and go through something hard. It’s easier for everyone if you play it comfortable, even if it’s sucking the life out of you not to try. So it would only be natural for those closest to you like your family and best friends to feel uneasy when you are making shifts and big move.

Only you can fully give yourself that yes.

Knowing it’ll be difficult, but worth it.

Stop asking, stop tiptoeing, and get to dancing with change.

What You Are Missing in Business as a Newbie

The one thing I wish I had known when I started a business was this:

Go into business to own a business, not to give yourself  20 job titles.

I’ve seen it time and time again. You want to start a business because you want the freedom to travel and live your life.

So you believe entrepreneurship is for you.

You spend your life savings getting all the fancy supplies the internet has told you are a must.

However, you don’t know that many of the tips you are reading are meant for established businesses.

You spend an obscene amount on overhead and courses from influencers. Then you work you ass off!

You get your first sale. And the next and the next. It’s a lot of work but you don’t mind because you are doing what you love, right? You are living off of the passion you breathe.

Not too long after you find your self up late at night working on your business.

You tell yourself this is what every entrepreneur does. It’s hard work. You blink and a year has gone by of this.

You are getting tired. Exhausted actually.

You feel overwhelmed with the amount of tasks. But you can’t stop to take a break because you have clients to serve.

If you can relate to this, you are like most entrepreneurs I’ve met. This is the route to burnout.

And the reason for it is your are working harder not smarter. You are missing are strategy in your business.

Increase You Money with This Knowledge

Become rich.

Build wealth.

More money.

However you want to say it.

All of it comes down to so much more than the numbers. Let me explain.

“Would you categorize yourself as a rich person?” This is a question I’ve been asking friends, family, and clients for the past few months.

95% of people had the same answer.

They answered in one way or another.

“No, I don’t feel rich.”

The wild part is that their answer had nothing to do with the numbers. I know this because the socioeconomic background of the parties asked varied by the hundred of thousands in income variation.

Now before you read this story with judgement, know that we are all on our own journey.

For many of us prioritizing money, money attraction, and money management is a tool to be learned.

And that’s okay.

I once knew this woman who had a beautiful soul inside and out.

But when it came to money management there was always a lack. A lack of security, a lack of food, and a lack of joy around what she had. It was a painful process to behold.

The amount of stress was all consuming at times.

At this time in my life, I truly thought her struggle was about her lack of money.

You see, I had heard about money mindset and all that jazz, but at the time I believed it to be a concept only the wealthiest had the luxury of comprehending.

But I was hitting the point in my life where I was starting to make the shift in my own life.

But things really solidified when this happened.

The woman who was beautiful inside and out that was overridden with money stress told me about a life changing self improvement course she invested in. I was excited for her and cheered her on. She mentioned that I should take the course too. So I asked the obvious question.

“How much does it cost?”

The number with multiple zeros that came out of her mouth shocked me.

What shocked me even more was that she had already paid for it!

This woman. The woman who could barely afford to feed herself had some how come up with the money to pay for what she wanted.

I was draw dropped. I was impressed, uncomfortable, and inspired.

This was the first time I was able to behold the true power a person holds over their money.

You will buy what you value.

Buying is more than just a physical transaction.

It extends to your emotion and spiritual compasses as well.

Your fear around money works the exact same way.

Increase Business Profit

I went from making a couple hundred dollars to my first multi thousand dollars AFTER I did this.

For many year in my life I was surrounded by the kinds of people that chanted, “More money, more problems.” and “More money, more work.”
So naturally it would have been easy to fall into the fear of money. But the hard truth was my multi thousand dollar days didn’t require any more effort than I had put in when I was making a few hundred bucks. If I’m being painfully honest, many days I was working more hard on the days I made hundreds vs. my thousand dollar days.
The final shift was investing financially instead of with my time and energy. When I made the leap to invest in my business with the Right coach, my business became more profitable than ever.

With the right coach I was able to finally stop working IN my business and finally work ON my business.

A thousand dollars seems like an average day now which is wild because I remember there once was a time I was running off of sheer passion. That’s why I provide extensive business coaching.
Because that’s how I did it.
But not the kind of coaching where you try to let positive affirmations bring the money.

I’m talking about the kind of coaching that gives you and your team all of it:
mindset, leadership, money, AND the systems.

My team works with brand new business owners and established brands who want to make more revenue and run more efficiently.
